During the event at the Circuito de la Magdalena Mixihuca, Xóchitl Gálvez joked about Checo Pérez's accident in the previous edition, hoping that he won't have issues with Charles Leclerc in this race. She is confident that the backing of Mexicans will motivate Checo to deliver a great performance this Sunday and to break his streak of 14 consecutive races without reaching the podium in 2024.
"I hope Leclerc doesn't get in his way. Both have been third in previous editions competing with Red Bull. Now, Checo Pérez's main goal is to win the race and break his negative streak," Xóchitl Gálvez pointed out.
